It is fairly cheap to hire a car in Ibiza. Most people hire the smallest hatchbacks - since you will not be making any long journeys (Ibiza is only 30 miles long!) and since there are no motorways on Ibiza, there is no need for a large or powerful car.
The best bargains are to be had by pre-booking your hire car before you arrive. It is possible to hire a small car for around £100 - £120 for a week.
During the high season we do not recommend just turning up and hoping to hire a car at the airport - often all of the cars are booked up, or at least, all the cheap ones!
We have provided some links below to car hire discount companies that provide value-for-money car hire in Ibiza.

Regular ferries run between mainland Spain (Barcelona, Valencia and Denia) and Ibiza, and Mallorca and Ibiza. There is at least one sailing every day in the Summer. The ferries can transport cars as well as foot passengers. Below are links to the web sites of a couple of ferry operators.
